Entering the Lifestream of Primordial Flow

January is almost ending. The days in the northern hemisphere are getting longer. We are exiting the dark season of the year and light is returning little by little.

I have been sitting with these words of William Shakespeare…..

All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players;

They have their exits and their entrances;

And one man in his time plays many parts…

…my inquiry is how am I being a player in the world’s stage and what are my daily exits and entrances?

What does it mean to exit while still in form?

What does it mean to enter into the Lifestream of Primordial Flow and be dazzled by possibilities?

My teacher Emilie Conrad invites me into this exploration with these words….

“It is important to identify our marvelous abilities and our drawbacks. I
acknowledge that patterns are life sustaining, and without them we would
spend all day trying to discover how to stand. Patterns can also be traps—
once riveted into the system they can dominate, particularly when it comes
to adaptive patterns that block the fountain of life and its opportunities for
thriving re-newal.״
Emilie Conrad, Life on Land, pp. 300-301

Patterns are useful and a resource but how do I exit the familiarity they provide to enter the Lifestream of primordial flow?

How do I exit the incessant need to fix and correct everything in my life allowing the Lifestream of primordial flow to orchestrate the experience?

How do I trust the unfolding perfection of the many exits and entrances of my life on this world’s?

For me the challenge of exiting my adaptive patterns resides on trusting that…

Primordial Flow is my birthright, always available to me….I just need to enter its stream with reverence, with curiosity, with openness, with un-biased attention. I need to exit the paradigm of the past with its limiting patterns, over-efforting, pushing and striving.

Primordial Flow is the thread that connects me to what went before me and to what it is yet to come.

Primordial Flow is the link I carry between my first and last breath.

Primordial Flow is the umbilical cord to the Great Mother beyond my mother!

Emilie Conrad developed a conscious and scientific movement method called Continuum. She was an amazing visionary. Her discoveries in the ways of science and movement are being recognized only now, almost 12 years after her transition, as pillars of health and well-being.

Movement is who we are NOT what we do.

ALL movement begins with the movement of our own breath.

When we Inhale we take form.

When we Exhale we let go of form.

In between form and formless are the expressions and discoveries of our lives.

Sound vibration and resonance give the body the opportunity to recapitulate and release its own places of holding.

Presence with breath illuminates the places where lack of sensation and tissue rigidity have set in.

Honoring with autonomy and authorship what we sense in the body opens us to freely express the inner fluid choreography, unique to each and every one of us. NEVER to be repeated!

Allowing our attention to be open and connected to our sensations, enriches our vocabulary of movement and expression.

THESE are the principles we bring forth in our Continuum Dives!

Would you like to Enter your own Lifestream of Primordial Flow through Continuum?

Join US!!!!

For the last few years devoted students have joined our “Year Long Adventure”. Having an experienced and committed group of practitioners provides a matrix of depth and ground to all those joining.

I feel these times, more than ever, invite us all to go deeper into the inquiry of what is meaningful? What is of benefit ? How are we radical activists by taking care of body/self/community first?

We would love to have you Enter your personal and our collective Lifestream of Primordial Flow portal to infuse the world we live in with memories of ancient wisdom!

Every other month we will meet for 4 weeks on Saturdays to explore the principles of Continuum.

We will anchor each Immersion on a theme to create context.

The first 3 Saturdays we meet 10 AM - 12:15 PM PST.

The 4th Saturday is an “Integration Dive” from 10 AM - 1 PM PST ( longer time to dive integrating sequences from Weeks 1-3).

The months when no Immersion is offered there are In-Between Dives to maintain the thread of connection and coherency.

Open to all Immersion participants.

On Wednesdays you receive an email with suggestions for keeping your practice alive and inspiring resources to deepen your own explorations!

All meetings are recorded and available to participants till the end of 2026.
